I'm one of you!

I can't believe I'm one of you all now!  My RNY surgery was bright and EARLY this morning. I've been walking and sipping just like you all have shared. Gas pains are there, but not as bad as I had feared. Surgery went great. and he fixed my hiatal hernia as well. My surgery was outside of Atlanta at Emory Johns Creek hospital and my surgeon was Dr. Christopher Hart. I'm a bit nervous about what the next few days, weeks and month will hold, but I'm so stinking excited to start having those NSVs!

Gratefully,  Lisa

Congrats! I'm only two weeks out now, but I feel so fantastic. I had a little hiccup last week, but it was because I pushed my diet a little to quickly.

The best advice I could give is take it slow with the food progression.

Welcome to the RNY party!

Congratulations! Welcome to the loser's bench. :) I know for me, once I got out of the hospital and got home everything was very easy.

Congrats!  I had mine at Northside Cherokee but in hindsight, I wish I had gone to Emory.  Keep sipping and walking :)

Northside Cherokee is my local hospital and with three kids it's seems we have been there often over the years. I can't wait until the new one is done!  I am so happy Dr. Hart operates out of here!  The rooms are gorgeous, the people kind and heck, they even have robes for us to use!  I wish this was our local hospital!

Mine will be at northeast GA hospital in Gainesville, but I did have surgery at Northside cherokee once. It was in the new (or now old) womens center...
